Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use our website or our storage services.
1. Who is responsible for protecting your information
This policy is adopted in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (commonly known as "Law 25"). For any question about your personal information, you may contact us at the email address shown on our contact page. We identify the person responsible for the protection of personal information on request.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our services: name, email address, mailing address, phone number and, where applicable, payment information (processed by our provider Stortech). When you fill out our contact form, we collect the information you choose to give us (name, email, message).
3. Why we collect it
Your information is used to process your storage unit rental, communicate with you about your account or your request, meet our contractual and legal obligations, and improve the quality of our service.
4. Sharing and processing
We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers required to run our operations (payment, web infrastructure, mapping), and with the authorities where the law requires it. Our booking platform is operated by Stortech, which processes your information under its own privacy policy.
5. Text message (SMS) communications
If you provide us with a mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, we use it only for communications related to your account and your rental: payment reminders, past-due balance notices, access codes and service notices. We do not send promotional text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Your consent to text messages is separate from your rental: declining or withdrawing it stops the messages without affecting any other term of your lease. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
6. Retention
We keep your information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires. Once it is no longer needed, it is destroyed or anonymized.
7. Cookies and browsing data
Our site uses cookies to keep the pages working properly (display preferences, security). We may use anonymous analytics tools to understand how our site is used. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, keeping in mind that some features may then be limited.
8. Your rights
Under Law 25, you have the right to access your information, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, to withdraw your consent, and to request its deletion (subject to our legal obligations). To exercise these rights, write to us by email and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Security
We put reasonable security measures in place to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration. Because no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The most recent effective date appears at the top of this page. We invite you to check this page periodically.
For any question about this policy or your personal information, write to us and we will respond within one business day.
