Answers to the questions we get asked

Renting, access, payment, site rules: everything worth knowing before you book your unit in Ascot Corner.

Renting and access

How to book, get onto the site and pick the right size.

How do I book a unit?

Call us at 819-566-4814 or fill out the form on the contact page. We confirm availability, offer you a visit, and the lease is signed on site.

What sizes are available?

We offer five sizes: 5x10, 10x10, 10x15, 10x20 and 10x30. From a small unit for a motorcycle or boxes up to the 10x30 for a large house. For a boat, get in touch and we will go over the options.

Is there a minimum rental period?

The lease is month to month, with a one-month minimum. You can rent for as long as you need, short term or long term.

What are the access hours?

Access hours are set out in your lease. Entreposage Ascot may adjust those hours with written notice to tenants.

Units and use

What to know about our facilities and the rules of use.

Are the units heated?

No. Our site is neither heated nor climate controlled. The units suit belongings that tolerate temperature swings: furniture, snowmobiles, boxes, seasonal equipment.

Do I need to bring my own padlock?

Yes, every customer supplies their own padlock to lock their unit.

Do items have to sit on pallets?

Yes, all items must be placed on wooden pallets. This protects your belongings and makes the site easier to maintain.

What cannot be stored?

Gasoline, oil, fuels, paint, flammable items, explosives, ammunition, toxic or corrosive materials, drugs, alcoholic beverages, perishable food, and anything living or dead. In short: nothing that puts you, your neighbours or the site at risk.

Payment and rules

Payment methods, late fees and lease policies.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card (through online payment), cheque, cash and bank transfer. Online credit card payment is available through our booking portal. For the other methods we do not send an invoice: payment is due on the monthly date set out in your lease.

What happens if a payment is late?

A $15 late fee applies after 5 days, then $5 for each additional 5-day period. Access to the unit is refused until the payment is up to date.

Is insurance mandatory?

Insurance is not required, but it is strongly recommended. The tenant is fully responsible for any loss of or damage to their stored belongings.

How does the lease end?

The lease is month to month and renews automatically. To end the rental, let us know before the next payment date and empty your unit completely to get your initial deposit back.
